5/10/2023 0 Comments The Djinn's Dilemma by Mina Khan![]() Intimacy: VERY GOOD & a bit of (D.R.I.P) Don’t Read In Public The plot that unfolds was engaging, with a villain that did not disappoint either. Between their sexual chemistry and the plot, the reader will not be disappointed. ![]() Their intense motel scene was also not lacking. I loved their car moment scene to be driving a car and accomplish what Rukh did to Sarah, was very impressive *wink*. ![]() We did get to find out a bit about each character’s background, which was helpful to the story. Rukh was extremely sexy and Sarah was very likable. Their first encounter was interesting, awkward, and entertaining. Right away, Sarah and Rukh has this intense chemistry and attraction that I find appealing and good. The books I have read so far from the Harlequin Nocturne Cravings are spicy and good. ![]() It’s an entertaining read from Harlequin Nocturne Cravings. I think the glowing reviews that are posted so far should not be ignored for this book. Now that the rules have changed, Rukh sets out to protect Sarah. Elaine Pogány's adaptation of the beloved story by Alexander Pushkin sweeps readers of all ages into a lively tale that unfolds against a colorful panorama of palaces and forests populated by princesses, peasants, and soldiers. A war-weary king strikes a bargain with a wizard and his supernatural bird in this enchanting fable from old Russia. ![]() Lower corners worn, other corners and spine ends lightly so, paper slightly yellowed with age, else a clean, bright copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (some chips and wear at edges). Mit și magie în cultura tradițională româneasca by Andrei Oișteanu![]() ![]() Cuvinte cheie: drepturile omului, tradiție, libertate, egalitate, proprietate. ![]() Using the case of the Romanian folk tradition, one can illustrate the way the principles that human rights are understood and put into the practice of everyday life. ![]() The anguish of loneliness and insecurity-the reverse of the present sentiment and right to freedom-does not accompany the exercise of traditional freedom. But freedom also binds him to his nation and land, his past and his future. Freedom is the natural way of existence of the traditional community man. The authority of women coexists in highly effective formulas with the authority of men, the authority of elders meets and complements that of young people. It involves the productive joining of different types of authority, specialized by objective and non-convergent criteria such as gender or age. Equality is the basis of the socio-political organization of the Romanian community and the family. However, equality and freedom were not only aftermaths of the French Revolution, but concepts of community philosophy reflected in works of the folk culture. ![]() Sometimes, however, this meeting is not harmonious or balanced, but involves a conflict in which the latter are disadvantaged. Values promoted in human rights philosophy meet the values promoted through community rights and tradition. ![]() ![]() He’s a smart and snarky kid thrust into a crazy situation - the Norse mythology world of which he’s a part since (surprise!)– his dad is Frey, a god that’s been off the radar. Out of his alter-ego’s golden suit, Daniels is self-effacing, soft-spoken and unstintingly polite. Now, Daniels is trying on a new role, that of author, with the release of a new memoir, “ I Am C-3PO,” which hits stores on Nov. After all, as C-3PO, the humanoid droid who is fluent in over six million forms of communication, he has braved the sands of Tatooine, endured the icy plains of Hoth, escaped the Death Star and been hailed as a god on the forest moon of Endor.
