I do not remember ever to have met with a boy, while I was in slavery, who defended the slave system but I have often had boys to console me, with the hope. Cloth is rubbed and lightly soiled with moderate age toning, gives a nicely rich, aged appearance. Gilt titling on spine mostly rubbed free, with just a hint here and there remaining. This is beautiful edition, with a square tight binding, has had the inner joints and the spine edges professionally and expertly repaired.
